A Spirit of Compassion that Lives On
May Jallad was a fighter and believer who battled breast cancer for five years before passing away in January 2005.
By the time May was diagnosed, she was already stage 4 and the doctors never expected her to live as long as she did. While suffering from cancer, May focused her energies on volunteer work with children cancer patients and events that raise awareness such as the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Her determination and dedication to make a difference kept her going. Her courage and optimism not only gave her the strength to fight and continue in the hardest times, but also to help other cancer patients who lack the resources to battle cancer. And this brave spirit lives on in the Foundation as we continue her legacy. |
